Shallow discharges and recharges are better than full ones, because they put less stress on the battery, so it lasts longer. When your battery is discharging, aim to recharge as soon as the battery level falls to 20%. While you’re charging it back up, you should aim to reach at least 90% capacity. Avoid extreme temperatures. Whenever possible, you should avoid leaving your tracker in hot cars or in chilly rooms.
If you’re not going to be using your device for an extended period of time, then turn it completely off and don’t forget to recharge the battery every 2 to 3 months (to prevent the battery from running dry over a long period of inactivity)
